| I've got an 802.11a wireless network running at the house, and a naughty little elf told me Santa might bring a shiny new XBox this Thursday. What are my options for hooking it up to use Live? My 802.11a router is upstairs in the office, and the XBox will go downstairs in the family room, so I'll have to hook it up wirelessly. I can confirm I have wireless connectivity downstairs, as I use my laptop wirelessly. I haven't seen any 802.11a adapters out there for the XBox, so I assume I'll have to get another piece of wireless hardware. Do I need an Access Point? A Bridge? I have a DLink router and network card, so I wouldn't mind staying with DLink stuff. Would this work? http://www.buy.com/retail/product.as...4&loc=101&sp=1 It says it's an access point that will bridge to wired networks, and it's fairly inexpensive, so.... Thanks in advance for your help. | |||
