Help about those stupid alert emails

i still keep getting those dumb alert new security patch emails. i get like
10 a day. if i put a fake email in for this board, wouldn't it not let me
post???

You can post with a fake email address. If you want people to know the
address add something to the address telling people to remove it if they
want to reply to you to get the correct address. Generally though, as this
is a newsgroup I prefer to keep all of my replies, questions etc public so
don't put any kind of relevant address in.

ah so you are being attacked by the swen virus too. I was at my netzero
account. My ISP was doing nothing about the attack. So I changed my
e-mail address to an e-mail provider. One other thing the e-mail
address I'm using is fake. I know allot of people are using
anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com for when they post on the Microsoft
news server.
