Live update

I am wondering if anyone has gotten the update that was supposed to take
place on Aug 28. It was supposed to change the look of the dashboard and
other things. I am unable to get any update when i connect to Live from the
dashboard. I have also played some games since then and there has been no
prompt to update. TIA

The dashboard isn't suppose to update until sometime this month. The update
on Aug.28 was to the website, you can now view your friends list on the
website.

The Dashboard update is suppose be around Sept.12, per Xbox Live web site.

Maybe they could of worded it better, but if you click on the link Labeled
"Dashboard updates are here", they state it will start in mid September:

If you're an Xbox Live subscriber, you're about to see some amazing
improvements and additions to the Xbox Dashboard. We're calling these new
features Live Now. When you fire up your Xbox in mid-September (without a
game in the tray), you'll be able to bask in the glory of the new look and

My understanding from reading somewhere was that it was US initially.
Though I shall try this evening when I get home (UK) as I have seen another
message where someone has already updated but didn't say where they were
from.
