Default Xbox RJ 45 Switch

I have a little problem I have one Ethernet adapter in my computer and 2 RJ
45 that I have to switch between Xbox and internet when I connect to the
internet I don't use a IP Address. But with the Xbox I need a IP Address so
if I'm transferring a game from my Xbox to my pc I can't use the internet at
the same time because the connection is taking up by the Xbox. What should I
do I connect to my pc to Xbox with a crossover cable I'm tired of switching
cables I want to just connect without going behind my computer.

Why not use a hub. You can get a small one from Netgear for under $100. I
use a switch to connect all my computers and my Xbox to each other and the
Internet. Works very nicely.

Take a look at
http://www.netgear.com/products/hubs...rt.asp?view=sb.

Get LinkSys stuff instead. It was excellent quality before, and now that it's a division of Cisco Systems (the networking emperors!) it's even better!!

Yes, and if you want to go wireless with the Xbox, you could use these
products from LinkSys as well.

and

http://www.linksys.com/products/prod...id=38&prid=550

Both work very well.
