| The folks at Circuit city got me sold on the netgear wireless router and I wanted to hook the xbox up as well. The only thing out there I know of is the Linksys wireless bridge. http://www.linksys.com/splash/wetxbox.asp#xbox1 Is it okay to mix and match products seeing how Netgear doesn't appear to have an xbox solution? | |||

| I use a Netgear FM114P wireless router and the Linksys WET11 wireless Ethernet bridge for the Xbox and it works a treat. | As I said, I have mixed brands on a wireless network and it works fine (including a Linksys wireless bridge and a Netgear router). I've also setup other mixed networks with no issues. Just make sure that the item has WIFI (which most new items have) and you'll be right. Netgear makes a wireless access point. It's the ME101. I'm using two of them right now with the Netgear wireless router (2 xbox's and my pc). It works great. I got the ME101 from amazon.com for $50. | |||

| I just bought the LinkSys WGA11B and am using it with a Cisco Aironet 340 Access Point using 128 bit WEP and it works great! As long as a 802.11b wireless device claims to be WiFi, it should work with any other WiFi device out there. -- Regards, Richard E. | Netgear have a wireless bridge. Check out their website. I use one on my XBox with a Netgear router and no problems (except trying to run two XBoxes Live at the same time), rollasoc "Homero Gonzalez III" <weasel21@tampabay.rr.com> wrote in message news:KT66b.11611$Mb2.478386@twister.tampabay.rr.co m... > If I were you I would not try that as earlier when Xbox came out Microsoft > said that 2 of its 16 employees who tried wireless worked well, others were > stuck with no connection.
