Then, I have my home network on a private 10.x.x.x addressing scheme. XBOX Live works just fine with it and packets are passed back and forth no problem. You can also configure it to forward packets or even place your XBOX on the DMZ... The Linksys is also a DHCP server so you will have to manually assign static addresses and routes if you have something that is not so plug and play. I believe most folks with a router run one external Internet IP with a private network behind it. Why the concern? | |||
