I was playing HALO and Ghost Recon on a 19" for about 6 months... SUKD! I
looked at rear projection, plasma, and a Sony WEGA... Stayed away from RP
because of burn in and plasma is still up for debate. I settled on the 40"
WEGA and it ROCKS!!!!!! Just need to upgrade to surround sound with a Sub
Woofer. Brother-in-law has the new SAMSUNG DLP wide screen set (50" and only
weighs about 88 lbs) it is an awesome set with very vivid color and many
extras.

I have a 55in Mits with HDTV. I play the games in HD and have played KOTOR
for 20 hours straight on it. No burn in the screen. I love plaing on the
large screen. If you have it USE IT!. If you can upgrade to Dolby Digital,
USE IT! AWESOME! Love playing the games loud and on the big screen.

KOTOR is not HDTV... very few xbox games use HDTV... wait for the next
generation of hardware to take advantage of today's awesome displays.

Well it's up to the developer as to whether HDTV gets into the game or not.
This generation or not for consoles, doesn't really matter. Th HDTV capable
displays are there, they just have to take the time to write the code.
Maybe not for PS2, but definitely for Xbox.

I thought I saw KOTOR as 480p, have to check it again. Playing Gotham
racing and GRIT in 480p looks nice too. Apex runs at a higher scan,
but the games sucks. Anyway, more detail, great sound-PLAY ALL DAY!

Generally 480p is not considered HDTV. HDTV standards are by and
large 720p and 1080i, some would say that 720p isn't a true HDTV
resolution but it's certainly more HD than 480p.

So to that end then KOTOR and any other 480p game is not HD.

There is nothing wron g with playing on projection...the caution is, if you
leave it on pause for too long, you may get residual "burns" on your
screen...resounding image.
I use an InFocus Multimedia projector on a 8 foot screen.
Images are beautiful, crisp, and I can see more than the typical quarter
sized heads to shoot at, they are like 6 times the size.
Pisses people off when I can see them and they can't see me in Ghost
