NBA2k3 online

Is there any unwritten rules for playing NBA2k3 online? I kinda thought
people would let the host of the game choose the camera angle, but many
times I've hosted and my opponent has changed it to the awful side-on-view,
when I prefer the default vertical, down the court view. Whenever I've tried
to change it back, they change it back to their preference immediately.
Hopefully, in future versions of the game, they will lock the presentation
control options for the non-host.

This is a problem with the 2K3 series. It gives equal control over the game
for the host and guest. It's the same in hockey. For the upcoming seasons
games I suggest renting them and checking out if this option for the guest
as been removed. Guests should only be able to choose their team, team
strategy and any line up changes. All else (rules, time limit etc.) should
be left to the host.
