Default Import hard drives

Would a US 120GB Elite hard drive work on a UK Xbox 360? A friend bought
a core pack and is loathe to pay 70quid for a UK 20GB when you can get a US
120GB for not much more...

I think DrG got a 20Gb from Asia which worked fine - not that that helps
much

I've heard that it will work. If you want to transfer your data though you'll
apparently need a Microsoft(R) Windows(TM) compatible computer as the 360
transfer disc won't work on a PAL machine. This means it's no go for me for
importing an Elite drive.

This is all information gathered from the internet and not first hand
knowledge so assign it the weight it deserves.

You can buy a certain 120gig from ebuyer for about £55 and reflash it into a
120 xbox 360 drive just so you know.

do they bundle the cable with the hdd now? i thought you had to send
off to MS and they'd send you one out? they might not do that if
you're applying from a country where they haven't officially released
the kit yet.

c+p from xbox scene

With the release of an official 120GB drive by Microsoft you can now use
this tool to make your own 120GB Xbox360 HDD using a Western Digital Scorpio
BEVS-LAT drive (that's a cheap (~80usd for 120GB) SATA 2.5" PC/laptop drive

Is this unofficial route not just going to get your xbox banned when you
least expect it?

Default Help your loved one stop smoking

My son knew he needed to stop smoking. He'd just seen his father die at 38 from lung cancer. That was the spark that made him realize that smoking could literally kill him. Unfortunately, every time he tried to stop, he would yield to temptation within a few days. I looked at using a nicotine patch and nicotine gum, but didn't want him to use either. For me, it seemed silly to take the same substance that causes the addiction - nicotine.
I searched for a natural and safe method to quit smoking: Stop smoking
How it works?
