Well chuffed! (Questions)

After a Saturday of effin and blindin (red wine hangover) I've finally
got my XBox up on the wireless network with TVsersity running. It's a
bit good innit. No more converting to DVD and burning off disks for me!

I've joined Live as well with a months free Gold membership and I was
looking at the marketplace for demos and downloads and was wondering how
the points system works. Obviously I have to buy points but how do they
equate to real money? Also when I purchase is it an immediate payment or
an end-of-the-month deal?

And finally, a friend of a friend wanted to know what the deal is with
the whole firmware debacle. How risky is it to connect to Live with a
patched dvd drive and can you get mods where you can switch it on and
off for Live purposes?

100pts = £0.85. Payment goes out immediately.

It's as safe as having a bit on the side with someone whos partner has
Aids. Though there is growing evidence to suggest that your (rather,
your friend's) 360 will be banned from Live for using pirated software
online rather than the modified firmware transgression.

Basically, piracy online is now over as of two days ago.
