| http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3159604 Payton knows fans have legitimate concerns about Kojima Productions possibly compromising the game's ambition due to issues arising from concurrent Xbox 360 development -- divided resources, less disc space, etc. -- and he addressed those directly: "I can tell you honestly at this point, we have not changed the game in any form with the idea of 'oh, we got to do this on 360.' Put aside whether or not we're developing for 360 or not, the game is built on the PS3 hardware, as you guys have known for the past two years or so." In other words: if MGS4 comes to Xbox 360, it has not affected the game's development. This is the same game Hideo Kojima decided to produce from day one. Make sure to listen to the podcast for more from Payton and the 1UP boys about Snake, Xbox 360 vs. PS3 and more. ________________________________________________ gaming-age forum reaction http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=156892 Blig suicide in 3...2...1 | |||

You read WAY too much into that if you read it as there being a 360 version, or will be. All you know is Kojima is coding to the PS3 with the game. As far as MGS4 goes, what exactly makes it a system seller? It isn't. It is an eagerly awaited title, but a system seller? Whenever MGS appears to be a system seller, it is because it supposedly is pushing the envelope of game graphics and so on. Outside of this, nope. Gran Turismo is and Grand Theft Auto series is. Even Halo is. But Metal Gear? It is part of the A level set of games that COLLECTIVELY sell a system. It isn't even on the Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest level. Put it slightly above God of War. - The Rich

Because the Wii can't handle it and they can't make any money selling it on the PS3. - Jordan

| The 360 has more graphics power than the PS3 actually. CPU wise the PS3 has the upper hand. "Brenden D.
