I knew a guy with turettes and while it's no laughing
matter...well..it just ****ing is isn't it ;o)

He used to control the swearing (badly) by making physical gestures
instead, which kinda worked, but it was a little embarrasing wandering
back from a nightclub with someone that acted like a malfunctioning
robot Bruce Lee.
