| Wonder if any of you guys can help me, bit of a long shot.. I'm using the latest XBMC with the official component cable, HD has been enabled in the original Microsoft dash. When I'm on XBMC it only displays in 480i but as son as I start streaming a movie or clip from my PC it jumps up to 1080i I was just wondering if this is normal and if there is any way to get XBMC displaying in 1080i all the time? Cheers for any help! Jed | |||

Not the same settings as video playback - another one (sorry - not near a XB) On earlier versions XBMC used to display the dashboard at the maximum resolution set in the MS dashboard. You have definitely converted to NTSC (if a European console) and enabled 720p & 1080i in the MS dash haven't you? | |||
