Guitar Hero II update

I know there's been claims of an issue with the update for GHII's whammy
bars. Does anyone know if the uodate has been removed and it's safe to play
or do I hold off for an announcement, really want to get back on it but
worried by the rumours of bricked 360's

Updated mine on the 1st day it was available, no problems at all with my
launch-day 360.

Mine's fine too. But it's only 3 weeks old as Worms bricked my launch day
machine.

I don't understand why anyone would be scared to update because of
internet gossip. I put the disk in, it updated, it works fine. I didn't
even know there was an 'issue'.

If it bricks, it bricks, you then shout at MS. It's just a console, it's
not like it's some unknown drug test.

Cheers all, I guess I read one too many articles as Ive just done it and all
seems fine
