| Dear All, Has anyone used this program? After using it to stream a film my 360 freaked out! It made a loud beep and froze with a circle of red lights flashing (apparently this means that there is a problem with component cable - be it that it's not plugged in properly or its faulty). It kept crashing during games and I naturally assumed that it was Donald Ducked, so I arranged for Microsoft to pick it up for repair. Sitting there extremely pissed off, it suddenly occurred to me that the problem may be as a result of using Transcode, so I uninstalled it and guess what - no more problems? I played games all night just to check (my lame excuse to the other half) and still no problems! Anyway to cut a long story short, has anyone experienced a similar problem using this program or should I play it safe and send my machine back to Microsoft to get checked? Meadey P.S. I'm approaching 12 months on my warranty. | |||

(ie not transcoded divx files, but actual wmv files played through Media Centre or the media blade) -- gamertag: Chrisflynnuk http://live.xbox.com/member/Chrisflynnuk Current eBay auctions: http://tinyurl.com/hutcb 360, DS, PS2 and Saturn Games For Auction. | |||

Get the K-Mega Codec pack, do a google and install the codecs on your PC, I stream TV shows, films, in DivX, Xvid and many other formats.....no probs at all...be astonished though when it works, but you must select film, press info on your remote, and transcode the film... skidz > > -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter for private users.
