Gears Of War - Helpppppppppppp

just got the dreaded disc read error on gears of war last night for the
first time, then tonight happened every time i started the game,

well pissed off im seriously addicted to this game on xbox live :-( :-@

is there anything that can be done to sort this ?

got my xbox last october and none of my other 7 games give this error, there
are no obvious marks on the disc...

gonna take the game back to asda tomorrow with my receipt and see what they
have to say, only problem might be it came as part of a bundle...

anyone had this problem with gears of war or any other game ?

I can assure you that it does no harm to the disc. I've left one in for
about four minutes before me bottle went and it was fine.

It also fixes **** like skipping dvds.

You could be playing again within ten minutes. Go to it.

Apparently it does work, but I thought the time stated was about 7 seconds.

A quick polish with Brasso works wonders for scratched disks...

It worked for my Oblivion disc that had bite marks in it

How are you with hot air guns on broken 360s?

Though on the above evidence maybe a quick dip in a five-gallon tea-urn
followed by the airing-cupboard is the way forward.
