| So, I have been wanting to buy a Wii, but can't seem to find one. I haven't purchased a new console in years, and the places I normally shop (department stores) never have any in stock. Where have people here gotten their Wii's? Is it just a matter of luck? drax | |||

I used this to find one: http://www.xpbargains.com/wii_locator.php You have to act fast when one pops up as in stock, especially if it isn't an expensive bundle.

I'm assuming that when it mentions stores like Sears it means the web site. I've looked at some of the bundles and I'm wondering why they are $450. It doesn't seem to add up. Is it a way to pay a premium to get a console? drax

Is it a way to > pay a premium to get a console? Yes, it's for the web sites only. Some of the bundles are ridiculous, I would stay away from any that have games you don't want or that charge more than the standard prices. It's normal for retailers to have overpriced bundles at a system's launch, but Wii is so popular that they are still getting away with them over six months later. The one I bought was from Circuit City, which was just the console and an extra controller at suggested retail price. Got free shipping, too, not a bad deal at all.

Those are some expensive points and controllers. I'll keep looking. drax

After weeks of phoning almost every morning (that is when they know if they will be getting them that day) they told me they were getting a few in that day and at what time the courier usually arrives. I got there for that time and waited a bit until it arrived.
