| My son (aged 6) has just had a Wii delivered that he won in a completion. Apart from the bundled Wii sports are there any games available that would be suitable for him? -- Steve | |||

Would you agree with these ratings? You do of course get a free Wii remote with Wii play. -- Steve

Rayman is a lot of fun and can wear a person out playing, there are 100s of mini games you have to go through where you have to shake and run and such with the remotes, wears the kids out. I think it is a really fun game too. I would give it an 8/10 Wii play has 9 maybe 10 games, I really like pool, tank battle, pong and the target practice game are all very fun games, maybe 7\10, the other games are fun but just not very interesting for me but the kids love pose a Mii and find a Mii. it is definately a game for family fun.

Personally, I think Wii Play is a lot of fun. (from a 25 year old's POV) The reviews seem to forget that you get a 40 dollar Wiimote and 9 mini-games for only 50 dollars. They are judging the mini-games as if they are the only thing you get for the package price. Also Super Monkey Ball has a lot of replay value and is very easy to pick up. FarCry also got unfairly slaughtered by reviewers, however I would keep that game away from a small child. -- WooHoo2You -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com

Here in the UK I can get Wii play for £34.99 delivered. The controller on its own is £29.99. That makes the game £5. -- Steve

Be carefull wtih GameSpor as their ranking are based for adult gamer not for children aged of 4-5. I have both at home for my son and Rayman is very good (even for me !!!) and Wii play is a little bit to complicate for a young children. You must be accurate and rapid, what is not very easy for a children. The best way is to help him and play with him. For me the best game will be rayman, as it is very stupid and funny, your son will definitivelly love it
