"March 16, 2006 - In their newest issue, Game Informer wrote up a speculation article on Halo 3. According to an anonymous, unnamed source, Halo 3 won't be called Halo 3. Instead, the title will be called Forerunner. Again, this could be total trash, or perhaps an April Fool's prank. When contacted for a comment, Microsoft unloaded the standard, "Microsoft doesn't comment on rumors or speculation."



In addition to the different name, Forerunner will feature large-scale environments, open-ended mission designs and support cooperative play for up to four players. Master Chief is still in the game as well, and functions as the main playable character.

Since all of this could be false, that's about as much as we're going to say. We'll have any concrete information as soon as it's available for this highly anticipated game, be it Halo 3 or Forerunner or whatever else happens to get churned out of the rumor mill".

I thot that this section is made to talk about PS2 or PS3 or XBOX.. or other Consoles?

What infomation that is found on Halo 3 is probaly all lies. I won't actually belive anything about Halo 3 until Bungie give some offcial news about it. But i can't wait ^_^

i didnt know they were even making halo3!!! i thought that that was just a rumor before the 360 would come out!

Yep, Halo 3 will be exisiting soon. I read some stuff about it on a game site. Bungie and Microsoft are keeping there gobs shut about Halo 3. Heck knows what it might be called either because they might be calling it something else, but for now people are calling it Halo 3.

Anyone know when the films out? Should be good, heard that bungie have the final say on production so that they have to stay with the game plot and dont change anything.

i njoyed the prev titles..nice action ..hopefully it will be tougher and better in upcoming titles
