Xbox360 Live banning modded units. Maybe PS3 is the better choice.

Microsoft is banning people from Xbox Live with modded consoles. Bad
step. PS3 doesn't do this, and they are free. If I won't be able to
play Xbox Live it's better to just get a PS3. Look at it as if you
were saving the money you spent on Xbox Live and are putting it into
the PS3 purchase. I'm gonna wait and see if there's any fix for the
Xbox Live fiasco. If not I will then wait and see if PS3 sales go up
(you need other people to play too and also prices to go down)
until I buy one.

You'll be waiting for quite a while for that price drop. Sony's
shareholders will only take a beating for so long before they tell
Sony to turn it around or else. And since the PS3 is already losing
$300 on each one sold, a price drop won't help the stock.

I think you can put em on hard drives, not sure if you can play them
though. If not then we need a better hack for the Xbox360.

I heard it was $250 and that production costs have gotten low enough
so that they "might" lower the price this summer. I don't know how
much though if they do.

There is a hack out now, but don't use it as M$ robots spot it straight
away..lol My friend used it and now not only can he not use Live but the
360 now comes up with a error code everytime he turns it on and won't play
offline

They have the same banning policy as M$, they did it on the ps2

You realize that everyone hopes you DO switch to PS3 so you can ruin their

It's $270 per unit. Production costs have gotten lower, but not enough
to make a difference. The blue diodes are the most expensive component
and their costs haven't gone down.

Sony is considering dumping the Blu-ray drive and replacing it with a
DVD drive to save costs and compete on price with the 360 and Wii.

That's impossible, how would all the current PS3 owners play those dvd
games? Blu-ray players can't play dvd's.

Retard, realize the only reason you're probably losing all the time is
cause you suck ****. Most people mod their consoles to go online and
want to compete, not cheat. That would be a minor portion of the mod
population.
