| Hi alll, 1. Whats the go with the PS3? As much as I like the look of it,( what's with not including a component cable in the 60 Gb version? 2. Whats with the reddish colour on the main screen menu? It was Definately black, when I first started it up, unless my eyes are seeing RED!!! 3. Whats the go with not being able to watch Blue Ray in 720P?, instead defaults back to a crappy 480i, which is poorer quality than a normal dvd player.? Hmm? PLEASE tell me this. More Ques to come........... Please reply direct to my email if you wish .............. Cheers!! Paully | |||

Games in HD 720p, Trailer downloaded from playstation store are in HD 720p, but Blueray disc are in 480i !!! I have the same problem, like anyone with a 720p hdready tv set I guess, this is a real shame. What's the deal here with Sony ? Sony states that the PS3 is not only a great game machine (which it is) but that the PS3 is also the cheapest HD blueray player ... OK it reads Bluerays but show them in low resolution SO NOT in HD at all !!! This is the opposite of the marketing messages from SONY and must be corrected. Cheers, ERic

I have to check 1080i output (to a 720p native set) or I get standard def movies. I'm using an hdmi cable though. don't know how things behave across components.
