It always amuses me how so many people, when confronted with bad news on the
xbox360, resort to attacking the messanger rather than dealing with the content
of the post. Sure... Blig asks to be attacked by his conduct, and probably
revels in the attacks, but he's not the person who wrote this. That was the
staff at IGN. And so far only Zackman has seen fit to address the point they
were making.

So what do you guys have to say about what IGN wrote on the 360's reliability.
To me, the console sounds like a piece of ****, hardware-wise. The failure rate
sounds astronomical. Granted, these guys play games for a living so their
consoles are most likely pushed to the edge of their capabilities more than
those of your average consumer, but still the failures they describe are
inexcusible.

IGN doesn't know what the failure rate is any more than BM. All anyone but
MS can do is speculate based on insignificantly small samples. That makes
the noise generated by BM's IGN link a waste of energy.

Do you ever read your schlock before clicking the post button?

Then Bilge must keep you in stitches -- ad hominem aggression is a
specialty of his.

The same Algonquian round table Bilge lambastes when it suits his
fanboy-tastic needs?

IGN didn't help you reach that conclusion, though.

Yeah, I know what you mean: http://www.ps2settlement.com/Index.htm#1

That's seven, count 'em, seven iterations of the PS2.
