| Hi! I just finished reading the thread from the guys who doesn't like FFX and your suggestions to him. I am almost done with FFX and I am enjoying it, even though some of the things in it I don't like..... as he already mentioned. What I am wondering is what RPG's or action RPG's have speech in them? I think the linear talking parts are good, like watching a 60 hour long movie that you get to take part in! Reading the text doesn't give you the same feeling. I recently started playing Dark Cloud 1 and it feels "old"..... Thanks in advance! Paula | |||

I recently started playing Dark Cloud 1 and it feels "old"..... > Thanks in advance! > Paula Of the action/adventure style RPGs: Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance has good voice acting, but the story and amount of speech are minimal. Drakan The Ancients' Gates has excellent voice acting, albeit a bit pretentious and with English accents. amount of speech are all decent. Grandia series has voice acting, but it was too childish for my liking. Primal's voice acting is split down the middle. The main character Jen is a clueless, angsty teenager that grates on your nerves. However, her side kick Scree is voice acted by Andreas Katsoulous (G'Kar in Babylon 5) and is superb.
