| MK Moderator ![]() | Here is my "tutorial"...First off, if you want to put an 80 pin cable in your xbox you have to buy at least an 18", and thats gonna be tight, I used a 24", because the designers of the xbox decided to put the cable in upside down, so you have to do a little bit of origami lol. Other than that, to put the two 80mm fans on the sides of the case you just have to open up the xbox and remove the tin insulation stuff, and then cut the lid to fit an 80mm fan. Just the fans alone increased my load times by almost 15%, and also decreased noticeable lag when playing an intensive game like full server of halo etc.... I put linux on my xbox, and the temp was about 7-10 degrees celcius cooler. The last mod that I did was the light under the xbox, I'm gonna be honest, I just thought that it looked ***y, it wont increase preformance. lol If you have any other questions I can try to explain step by step. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

| MK Moderator ![]() | assuming that you already have your own xbx i will need $50 for all of the parts and pieces (2 led fans, 1 neon, sheet of acrylic, 80-pin IDE cable, neon control board, and pain) if you wanted it modded with a chip i would need more, (80 minimum for the chip, and then however much you would like to spend on a hard drive) i would charge 50 for any mod, even if i do the cosmetic one and the physical one so 100 minium, or 180 + the hard drive cost (if you want your box chipped) | ||

| MK PitStop Member | Nice setup you got there mate! I just hope I can have an Xbox like that. Currently, I'm just using my PC as a way to play games. But I'm saving money for an X-box and a PSP. | ||
