Is Sony PS3 just copying the Xbox 360?

As we all know when the Xbox 360 came on the market Sony then tuck there PS3 design back to the drawing board as it wasn’t as near as good as the Xbox 360, so to me this is just well wrong as it looks now like they cant come up with there own ideas like Microsoft has done and did.

So this is where you should ask your self that big question, is the PS3 going to be just the same as the Xbox 360?

What are your thoughts?

I highly doubt it..Because I defently know Sony will be using Blue Tooth on the PS3 and I also know that Microsoft never added Blue Tooth...Pla...Be kinda stupid if they made another 360 PS3 style..

i think the the ps3 is gonna be more alien look-ish and is gonna try to give it the x-box 1's performance.

Just found this interesting article about the XBOX 360 design-
apparently XBOX 1 was the Hulk while XBOX 360 is more Bruce Lee

It's interesting that all three of the next generation of consoles (including nintendo) have gone for the idea of standing the console verticaly, which was probably started by Sony with the PS2. When you consider the ugly XBOX 1, I would say that microsoft has followed the style of both Apple and Sony.

Microsoft don't traditionaly have a reputation for stylish product design, but credit to them they have really done well with the 360. Apparently part of the design team behind the 360 included designers from Japan, this would make sense as the Japanese market is one that XBOX has not cracked yet.

I would say that yes they look to have come along way in style since the Xbox to the Xbox 360 and these styles look nice I like alot of them

I think the style competition of game consoles is becoming more important as the features it have while playing already. Players nowadays are not just looking for video or performance quality but also how their game console looks.

Microsoft did a great job in making the Xbox more likeable to the eyes and of course other companies, like Sony, will try outdone what Microsoft has done. In doing so, we might just think that Sony has just copied the styles of Microsoft.
