| Member Level 1 | I think the Xbox 360 is the better console i think this because it has bigger memory which is 512MB and you can increase on that. It also has a 20GB hard drive with a CPU that has a speed of 3.2GHz as well as having high definition game support. it can rip music and it has a Wi Fi along with an ethernet and a 10 MB embedded RAM. | ||

| Member Level 1 | Very, very frequent question. I have the Xbox 360 and i'm very happy with it. I'll bye additional coller, for better perfomence, but i have X360 one year, and it wasn't any problems. I play really much, but it works brilliant... Okay it's a little bit too noisy, but when you playing, you just don't hear that noise. And of course new consoles aren't that noisy as old 90nm. Now consoles are with 65nm processor and works much better. In 2008 middle Microsoft will start selling new 360 with 45nm processor, and new architecture- Jasper. It'll be muuuuch better | ||

| Member Level 1 | As an owner of all three 3rd generation consoles I prefer the PS3 over the Xbox360. The PS3 had a rough start into the market because Microsoft were already two years ahead in the competition making them have a larger sector of the market and more games were avalable. The PS3 is future proof, with its Blu-Ray Drive and its abillity to expand its Hard Disk manually. Consoles like the Xbox 360 are holding back the PS3 from reaching its full abillity. This is because when a game such as GTA 4 was being developed, the programmers had the choice of making the game 48GB big meaning it would have a LARGE MAP and longer game play and more life like interactions because a stand alone PS3 Blu-Ray Disk is 50GB which is more then enough to fit a game that large on but they couldn't, this is because the Xbox360 DVD Disk supports the maximum of 9.4GB of data and so they couldnt make games that large yet. The reason why most game developers also release their games onto the Xbox360 is because they know that the larger market is made up of Xbox 360's. So in other words the Xbox 360 isnt letting the programmers use the PS3's full Blu-Ray memory abillity. Quote:

| MK PitStop Member | I've just posted on the same topic in another thread. I own an xbox 360, bought it instead of a PS3 because of SCEE's marketing dude raising the price of the PS3 from £300 to £360 (coincidence?) before Christmas, December 2007. I was literally just about to purchase my PS3 and saw the price had gone up, couldn't afford the extra £60 because it was Christmas I had spent my money on otherthings then I managed to get that extra but by that time they were all sold out, only the 40GB was left, priced at £300.... There's no way I'm gonna pay the same price I was about to for 20GB less diskspace and no backwards compatibility. That aside, physically the PS3 just owns 360, it has much better performance developers just need to utilize it correctly. Also as BR is standard with the PS3 the games have the potential to be much much larger. Although this is unconfirmed by Rockstar North, Rockstar Games or Take2, it has been rumoured that GTA IV was made smaller because of the physical limitations of the Xbox 360 game disc being DVD. | ||

| Member Level 2 | I bought my 360 purely because the games I like and want are on this system. The only game I am missing out on is MGS4 and SSBB. | ||
