    Default water during workout

During exercise, whether strenuous or not, we shed a lot of water in the form of sweat. So the body gets tired because of dehydration. So, the need to replace the water is essential to get you going throughout the rest of the day.

It is good to pay attention to your fluid intake about 2 to 3 hours before you start your workout and keep drinking a cup of water every 15 to 20 minutes during the workout. This way you tend to keep the muscles hydrated, which will ensure the full use of the muscles to burn away fat. Even after the workout, your body needs about 2 to 3 cups within an hours time, and then regularly for the whole day. It is recommended to take a total of about 8 to 10 glasses of water, i.e., about two and half liters of water everyday apart from the water taken during the exercise.

Compared to other beverages, water has absolutely zero calories. So, the next time you feel thirsty, go for a glass of water instead of any of those calorie laden drinks.

You are pretty right that water is the best liquid that gives us life, but I still think that we need as much water as we want, our body will always tell us when and how much water it needs

Yes, drinking water while working out is essential for the body to restore the fluids youve lost while exercising. Is it true that drinking cold water can make you fat?

Well, I have never heard of cold water posing the risk of weight gain. It is true our bodies give us an alarm when dehydration sets in. Getting used to 8 glasses of water a day will take more than the body's response. Water is really healthy and that is why it is equated to life.

I still keep a bottle of water with me but years ago I learned very quick the issues that can happen if you over water yourself after a workout. I do not think I have ever been more sick in my entire life than that one time a few years ago.

I didn't used to like drinking plain water, so I'd always rehydrate myself with Gatorade or Powerade. Now it's always fresh, cold water for me.

As Cavei mentioned, you need to be careful not to overdo it. I always get terrible stomach pains if I drink too many fluids while working out.

Yeah that's true. It is always advisable to drink plenty of water to keep your body hydrated, but it's not advisable to drink water during the exercises, even the gentle ones like yoga.
