| Member Level 1 | During exercise, whether strenuous or not, we shed a lot of water in the form of sweat. So the body gets tired because of dehydration. So, the need to replace the water is essential to get you going throughout the rest of the day. It is good to pay attention to your fluid intake about 2 to 3 hours before you start your workout and keep drinking a cup of water every 15 to 20 minutes during the workout. This way you tend to keep the muscles hydrated, which will ensure the full use of the muscles to burn away fat. Even after the workout, your body needs about 2 to 3 cups within an hours time, and then regularly for the whole day. It is recommended to take a total of about 8 to 10 glasses of water, i.e., about two and half liters of water everyday apart from the water taken during the exercise. Compared to other beverages, water has absolutely zero calories. So, the next time you feel thirsty, go for a glass of water instead of any of those calorie laden drinks. | ||
