    Exclamation Tennis

Hi guys.... I just have a few doubts about tennis matches... I dont know exactly when the matches end...
Bcoz some of the matches ends in 2 rounds like: 6-4, 6-4 and some other matches go on for three to four rounds like: 6-3, 7-4, 6-4 and so on....
I dont really understand this scoring.. Can anyone explain me about this scoring procedures.....

You mean a real tennis matches right? So the rules are like this.

Most of men and women singles tennis games all had only best of three. That mean if someone can win 2 sets in a row, like 6-4,6-1. If both player had one game each, they had to play the rubber set to determine who win the match.

The Doubles though this day had cahnge their rules to attracted more audiences. In doubles games, both Mix, Men doubles and Women doubles also play for best of three. But if the matches run into a rubber set, they only play for reaching 10 points ( and not games) to win the last set.

Only men singles had to play Best of Five in five tournaments in one year tennis calendar. They were at the four Grand Slam event : ASustralia Open, French Open, Wimbledon Open and US Open. Plus Final Tennis Master Cup at end of the year. In these events, player had to play at to reach 3 sets before they can be declare a winner. So thats why sometimes you see a player had to play three or four or even five sets to win a match in Grand Slam events.

Its a real exhausting for the players, thats why the Best of five rules only for men singles and only play five times in one year. Hope this help.

Though I am Fed-Ex fans, hardly no one can touch nadal not to mention beat him in French Open. almost like Federer in Wimbledon.
