well people could use less of the electricity. after using certain appliances you could unplug them because they waste energy. not waste water, change your lightbulbs into the cfl kind. you could always do the 3R's which is reduce, reuse, recycle. clean your surroundings and plant more trees and etc. there are a lot of things that people can do to change the environment for the better.

I think the best way to reduce the Global Warming would be to start with reducing the number of Air Conditioners. Thats the most disturbing machine which gives out the most amount of CFC into the atmosphere. This can be possible by not starting to shut down all the ACs but to reduce them slowly and slowly.

Firstly welcome to this forum. Global warming is something very serious and there are a lot to do to stop it being worse. One of the ways is to replace petrol with something else to avoid air pollution that will increase CO2 level.

Well, I can contribute for the point against Global Warming by using less vehicles that emit lots of CO2. I prefer cycling for short distances.

The other thing which one can try on their level to help reduce glabal warming would be to use less number of plastic bags. If one person starts the habit of using a paper or a cloth bag... it might continue with other and another.... So less amount of poisonous gas is released when less number of plastic bags are burnt....

Plastic Bags are the worst affect of air pollution, I just hate them. The people talk about recycling them but never do it. I always keep my plastic bags in some other bags and use them for making some craft work.

a recent survey says there are millions of unused phones lying in the united kingdom with at least 2 phones in every house. as these mobiles are made of toxic metals, it might release injurious gas which will in turn effect the environment. So, lets recycle our unused mobiles and donate the raised funds to charity or spend purposely, but not keep them lying in desks'.

On my saying, a colleague of mine did trade in mobile with fonebank and I also request you all to trade in mobile.

Lets keep our environment clean.
