| MK PitStop Member | I'm a little tired of seeing people bump a thread that is 3/ 6 months old and replying about what the topic starter said even though the subject no longer has bearing or the starter hasn't been here in months. It's called useless bumping basically. I'm thinking the mods should try to stop this. | ||

| Back Office Guy- ![]() | I know what you mean by this, the problem being that if we lock them the forum may come accross in a bad way with so many threads locked. Also deleting them can have the same effect. Once the forums continues to pick up pace as it is doing now this will become less of a problem in the future.

| MK PitStop Member | I think that the bumping, if it is on-topic, is fine because of the lack of activity around here. So long as it is on-topic, it causes no major harm, imo. Threads from months/years ago are still on the first page of the index, so people just don't notice the date on it. As whatcha said, once it picks up in activity, I don't think it'd be as big of a problem anymore. | ||

| MK PitStop Member | I'm really taking part in this forum for a few reasons. One, becuase I want to win obviously. Two, my forum is thinking about holding the same exact type of contest. I am trying to get a feel of the positives and negatives involved with it. And lastly, as this site is lacking in good information, I figure I can help out here and there as I would like the same to be done in my forum. I believe in karma, alot! And hopefully, the spam will curb downward in sizzle out. My forum has a few more active users than this, so maybe it won't be such an issue. zerk | ||

| MK PitStop Member | Thanks, I see that you did update the rules. This is greatly appreciated. And one other little note, like Congee mentioned, certain forums seem kind of spammy for this contest anyway. like the introductions forum, why should a post like "Hi welcome to MK Pitstop" count as a post OR as credit towards this contest? | ||
| |
| | #7 | ||
| Female Delegate ![]() | I kind of agree in that.. Maybe we should make some zones, like the introduction one, post-count free. So people can still welcome other members, but we won';t have people welcome everyon just to increase their post count..

We think we will also do some sections of the forum so that MK Cash doesnt get added as it would only be fair, we will look into it and see what would be best. As for post count we will leave this as I and others think that post count should be done on the amount of posts made all over the forums | ||||
