few forums i suggest adding

I would be interested in the following forums to continue posting on this website as I am running out of places to make legitamate posts:

- political forum for discussion of 2008 US pres. race.

- places to discuss and post about service submissions... like directory and article submitting services.

also, is it possible to get rep included in this contest automatically? meaning if I get +4 rep, that counts as X amount of cash? This I think would help encourage GOOD posts intsead of spam.

I don't think a forum for the US presidential race is necessary at all considering this forum has members from around the world, and that it seems to be situated in the UK. Many people also don't bother to follow politics anyway. If anything, I'd say you're better off making a thread for that.

It was just one example, Congee. As of now, there is really no place to even create a thread like that.

The community chat would be an eligible place to put threads like that, imo, since those boards are for discussions unrelated to whatever else goes on around here. I don't see how that was just an example when you specifically requested a political board for the US presidential race, and gave nothing more general than that.

Edit: If anything, I'd say make one for more serious social discussions, and make one for spammy discussions/games (like the last one to post in here wins) where the posts wouldn't count and wouldn't give you cash.

Well this contest they are running... I am guessing that low visitor count is giong to spike in the next few days. It's already brought a lot of posters/spammers/contest entries here. hehe. So maybe the forum isn't a bad thing to have at this point.

I'd certainly think that with the contest you guys are having, it'd be better to have a section for more serious social discussions, and a section that doesn't count towards the contest for the silly ones. I really don't believe the silly spam posts/threads deserve to be counted for the contest.

I agree. Actually I made a topic about how much spam was giong on in this forum and the amount of useless bumping taking place. Granted, not everyone of my posts are full of 'amazing' content, but the majority, vast majority, have at least some level of legitimacy. My post was left unanswered by admins...

Very true this is also something that we will try and get sorted over the next day or so, as for the MK Cash idea this is a good one, we will have to try and look into seeing how this could be done, but how long this will take is unsure at this time
