| Banned | One way of promoting yourself as a writer is by creating a great and unique article such as an essay, research paper or even a short story. Put a signature below every article of yours. If your article is great enough to merit attention, people will contact you and ask for your writing services. Just make sure you offer articles which can be called one-in-a-million articles. Surely many will take notice of them. | ||

| MK PitStop Member | Its a very good advice. But quite difficult to do it since there are perhaps million writers online. But maybe with constant writing and good thinking, good and attractive articles may not be that hard to reach.

Anyway, I might still keep this advice and who knows one day I might be a writer through constant practice. Thanks for the info | |||

| Member Level 1 | That's a good point to have a signature. It's like an artist signing every one of their works so that when someone else sees it or buys it, they have a reference if they are interested in more work. Related to this topic, what would you guys say about blog entries? This may be a silly question, but would you put a signature and sign every post even if it is your own blog? It wouldn't hurt right? Unless the redundancy has some negative impact on readership or just irks the reader. | ||

| MK PitStop Member | Good advice I think, it is okay to post your signature in the end of your post (even in a blog) to make them go back to your homepage once they're done reading your blog post.

| Member Level 1 | ^That's not a bad idea. It's not too much to be an insult to the reader (you assume they know how to use the blog but you also provide a convenient shortcut), but enough to create another link. I also agree with the first post, it's good as a general rule to mark your work, to market your service. | ||
