Is is necessary that we need to have our own website before joining affiliate program

I really want to join affiliate programs. However, most of the affiliate programs request that I put the url of my web. Is there any other way that I can still join the affiliate programs without having my own web site?

Well I think it would be best to have a site as you would only be able to use it on a site, you could always use it on a free site host, what do you want to use it for with out a website?

There are few affiliate programs where you don't need a website. A simple referral contest is also an afiliate program. There is such a contest (without competition really) on Globalgoldtalk.com forum. They pay 50c for a referral. Your referrals must be active on forum. That's it.

no it's not needed! Most of the time you get an affiliate link, like www.product.com/yourname

You can simply pay for adwords and put your affiliate link in there! I know a few people who do this everyday and make quite a nice living out of it!

I think there are two ways here.
1. You can send people directly on owners affiliate site and get paid from them for "getting referrals".
2. You can set up own site. And once you get own site, why not to start own business..? No need to sell products. It can be something totaly online...

Setting up a site or a forum is a peace of cake. Hard way is how to maintain it to be alive.

I suggest that you can start a bussiness using a blog. If you find it useful and successful, you can then host a website. With or without a website, it is the program and your efforts that should be taken into account.

There is no any easy money spread over the internet, and if somebody is saying so, they are going to cheat you in some way.

true, I have to say though our refferal system is easy
