| Member Level 3 | LOL ia have had problems with paypal too and I have seen many forums complaining about paypal...I think they are a kind of dictators in their market because of the lack of good competition. I use neteller and they work great, I even have my own neteller debit card! | ||

I had enough of PayPal for selling and found alertpay.com in Canada. Though I am in the UK and have now got my own site, I can't see why it won't work for ebay too if you paste this in as the method of payment. So Far I have found it works in all countrys as long as the person has a valid email address and works very much like PayPal with the exception they will accept all types of payment from cards to wire transfers which is great considering how difficult it is in some countrys for people to get a credit card. Read it, it gives 3 type of account. I use the merchant for selling. You need proof of id though like a scan of an id card, passport or driving license and a scan of a utility bill or bank statement. Because of marital circumstance I needed to do away with credit cards so paypal capped me trading, but this works great and cost noting to try or sign up. Don't take my word for it, try it as I have had no problems so far with them. I won't ever be using PayPal again as they think they are a law unto themself. I looked everywhere and discovered them by pure chance. I can also transfer money to anyone through it like paypal too, plust anyone in the world can buy from me, I may even try to give it a go on ebay just to upset them and put the direct payment method code within the ebay add. PayPal stinks and still owe me capped money | |||

| MK PitStop Member | I think Paypal isn't too bad. It lets me do my online business fairly, just the CC verification process is a problem for me. Alertpay isn't a good alternative. I am sure you can't even buy hosting with Alertpay account. My suggesstion for alternative to Paypal is e-gold.

| MK PitStop Member | Alternative to Paypal? Never heard before but there are so many other payment processors like egold, alertpay, libertyreserves, moneybookers. I use paypal and moneybookers the most.

| Member Level 1 | So far AlertPay has been excellent for me, I have had no problem to make payments for anything and no problem recieving money too. As for web hosting I have never tried as I already have 2 webhost don't need another, but i can see no reason why someone cant purchase hosting through them as they accept all types of payment and like paypal as long as they have an email address Payments can be made even if they dont have an account with them, unlike Paypal. I will be the first to complain here if I have any problems with them. Anyway they don't charge to open an account, so I say give them a try. I never heard of them before myself so checked them out for myself and am very happy (SO FAR!) with them | ||
