Internet Installation for other software you want with the basic distro though, can be a pain at first with a slow connection. If that is the case, it would then be best to get a DVD to install a more robust system locally before you go out in search of additional needed software. If you don't want to buy a dvd, and have a burner, then torrent it (even on a slow connection, with lots of seeds). Just download and come back when its done, burn and install. |
