Hard to tell, except I would look to whatever antivirus program you're
running on the Vista machine. Anything Norton (Symantec), McAfee, or Zone
Alarm will block the access of the Xbox 360 unless you specifically set that
program to allow the 360. The other thing is, the Xbox 360 isn't
necessarily "smart" where accessing a PC is concerned. Unlike a PC, which
can support up to five Extenders, the Xbox 360 can only access a single PC
at a time. You might try removing the XP PC and then set up the Vista
machine.
