I bought a radio shack one for about $10 and it works fine. I also tried
the ear bud one that came with my nokia phone and it didn't work at all.
The headset unit that plugs into the controller has a raised ring around it
which kind of recesses the input. Make sure that your headset plug fits
inside this ring or the headset might not be inserted all of the way and not
work properly. My radio shack headset has plastic around the base of the
plug that interferes with the ring so I had to trim it away with a knife.
