Well they might be aiming for keywords that they have no chance in getting, some people aim to high to start with and should aim lower, I like to aim at lots of different small searched keywords and that way get a good amount of traffic but I have also aimed at high searched keywords and waited for a little while longer to gain the rankings needed then found that the traffic for these keywords were bad
