It's a 1994 M reg CDX so no steering controls (none planned) and I
believe the display on the dash will keep the time and temp just loose
the date when a non Vauxhall unit is fitted and switched on (at least
that's what happened in my mates Astra when he fitted a Mini Disc
player), so no real loss, the Sony unit looks ok not sure about the
display though (could it be difficult to read? I did a Google search
found it at
http://www.ukaudioshop.com for £124 is this because it's
an old model? not that that matters, any idea how it rates against the
JVC quoted earlier? I'd rather have sound quality/build quality over
flashy looks any day, having said that looking on the above mentioned
site the Sony CDXF5700 looks like the display is larger, I know it's
just outside my budget but what the wife don't know won't hurt her :0)
would it be worth the extra cash?
