If the wires are connected to a funny connector, then you can get an adapter
to give straight red and black wires. Ask Halfords for the Peugeot 206
speaker adapter, look in their book and see if the pic is the same.

I'm not taking my speakers out now, or I would be able to tell you which is
+ve.
