 Problem with Photoshp.exe (Version 7.0) not fully launching? | |
This problem *just* started happening last night after I found and removed the
Blaster virus and ran the Microsoft XP patch file.
I have a Dell computer running Windows XP and have an upgrade version of
Photoshop 7.0. Version 7.0 has been upgraded from 6.0 and 4.0 -- which both
are also still on the computer. The stranger thing is Version 6.0 launches
just fine.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling 7.0 (restarting the computer in
between the uninstall/install), renaming the photoshp.exe application file,
tried launching it from the shortcut on the desktop and even going into Windows
Explorer and finding the physical file in the folder and double-clicking on
that. I get the same result no matter what I try. When it stalls, it seems to
be stalling when "loading brushes".
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm pretty much out of ideas. Any help will
be greatly appreciated.
