Strangely enough, I was getting wierd graphics in Forza2 as well (what
looked like red rain on white backgrounds) and thought it was the game but
tried on Dirt demo (eliminated the possibility of the disk drive or the
disk) and it was still there. Switched off and back on and got the dreaded
red light (only 1 though, bottom right sector) and error code 74. Tried
changing the video cable but no joy. An original launch machine so no
warranty for me. Looks like the failure rate might higher than MS is
prepared to admit as that's now 5 of the people I play on line with have had
a similar fate.
