Yup, they've incorporated the new maps into matchmaking, so you'll not be
able to get a game without them.
I think I heard that they will be free from the beginning of July, so if you
object to paying you'll have to wait until then. That's what I'm doing,
tightwad that I am.
The Halo 3 beta will keep me going in the mean time.
