Some forums don't like signature links, because some members join only for the purpose of advertising through sigs. "Signature posting" services also exist on some paid-postings. They invite posters: "We want you put this and this link in your sig and then post a lot. Quality of posts doesn't matter. We pay 5c/post..."
These services will maybe ask someone to post on your forum without your invitation...This is why Moneymakergroup forum or some others doesn't allow sigs at all. |
