When dealing with customers you should always be nice, if you want them to spread the word about your business or come back them selves. To start or maintain a good successful working business you should follow some easy to remember rules.
These are for face to face customer service:
1.Look at the customer with a happy face.
2.Talk clear making sure the customer can here you without asking what you had said.
3.Be as friendly as possible.
4.Remember to be polite and use your manners.
5.If they are a returning customer, talk to them as if you are a very good friend (if you know there name use it)
These tips are for on the phone customer service:
1.If there is a customer phoning, try and answer it straight away, try not to place them on hold.
2.If you need to ask some one a question, don’t place them on hold as this makes it out that you’re hiding something.
3.Try and deal with the matter in full.
4.Ask them at the end if they need help with anything else.
5.Remember to say thank you for calling.
These tips are for dealing with customers online, by email or chat:
1.Use full and correct grammar within the emails.
2.Reply to emails as fast as you can.
3.If you don’t have the answer they want still reply to them.
4.Always finish the reply with a thank you and your name.
Following all these tips should help your business in a big way, just remember when you deal with another company then you like to be dealt with in the correct manner, so you should deal with your customers the same way you would want to be dealt with.
