The Nintendo Wii is manufacturers smallest console thus far. It measures 44mm wide and 157 mm tall. If you took 3 DVD movie cases and stacked them up they would be the size of the Wii. It is also the lightest of the 3 major consoles, the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the Wii. It is also considered a 7th generation console. Unlike other gaming consoles you can use the console vertically or horizontally. What is great about the Wii is that you can use Wii Optical Discs and the Game Cube Discs so you can play double the games on a newer system.

There are two USB ports that can be found at the rear of the console. It uses an SD card slot that is behind the cover on the front of the game. You can even upload pictures and back up games you wish to save. This console has a different controller than the other games. It uses LED’s and accelerometers to take it’s place in 3D. There are internal speakers and a wrist strap so you don’t lose it. No other gaming console has that.
