ASUS Commando Motherboard
The ASUS Commando motherboard is a great motherboard, as we all know ASUS is a company that is popular among hardware enthusiasts for their overclocking stability. This motherboard comes with some great features like the maximum capacity of upto 8 gigabytes of RAM, it has one CPU that can take a LGA775 Socket core 2 duo and there are 6 SATA ports.
CPU Parameter Recall (CPR) allows you to recover the CPU settings after a system hang due to overclocking failure. The BIOS will show the previous setting, allowing you to overclock step by step without clearing the CMOS, this can be great for fast and easy setup of overclocking and not having to go through and reset all you’re setting again and again.
On the motherboard there is also an LCD display for if a problem occurs, the LED will indicate the likely problem. The fancy style heatsink that comes from the P965 Northbridge would look great in a full acrylic clear sided style case.
In over all this seems like a nice stable running motherboard and would be nice for a gaming system, the motherboard will also take the latest operating system by Microsoft the Windows Vista, but with this motherboard it doesn’t come at that much of a low price, saying that it is well within the price range.
