The Sempron series has a CPU of 1.4 Ghz to 2.2 GHz, it has FSB speed of 166 MHz to 200 MHz. It is suited to sockets, A, 754, 939 and AM2. The cores are Thoroughbred, Barton, Paris, Palermo and Manila. The Athlon 64 is a 8th generation AMD64 microprocessor released in 2003. It runs from a 64 bit operating system and has 128 kibibytes of level 1 cache and at least 512 kibibytes of level 2 cache.
